Important Notes
- Your domain must already be pointed to DominionPort (nameservers set)
- Choose the correct domain when deploying (if you have multiple)
- Always enable free SSL after deployment (Let’s Encrypt – one click)
- Test the site using the temporary URL or server IP before going live
How to Deploy Your Website
Option 1: One-Click Installer (Fastest – Recommended for WordPress & More)
- Log in to your DominionPort hosting panel
- Scroll to or click on the Softaculous, Installatron, or One-Click Installs section (usually under “Software” or “Applications”)
- Choose the app you want (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, phpBB, etc.)
- Select your domain from the dropdown
- Enter site name, admin username/password, and email
- Choose installation directory (leave blank for root: yourdomain.com)
- Click Install → Wait 1–2 minutes
- Access your new site at yourdomain.com and admin panel (e.g., yourdomain.com/wp-admin)
Option 2: Upload Your Own Files (File Manager)
- Log in to your DominionPort hosting panel
- Go to File Manager (under “Files” section)
- Navigate to the public_html folder for your domain (or the correct folder if addon domain)
- Click Upload → Select your website files (zip if many files)
- If zipped: Right-click the zip → Extract
- Delete the zip file after extraction
- Visit yourdomain.com to see your site live
Option 3: Use FTP/SFTP for Advanced Uploads
- In your DominionPort panel → Find FTP Accounts → Create or use the main account
- Note the FTP hostname (yourdomain.com or server IP), username, password, port 21 (FTP) or 22 (SFTP)
- Open an FTP client (FileZilla recommended – free)
- Connect and upload files to the public_html folder
- Visit yourdomain.com to check
After Deployment
- Go to SSL Certificates → Install our free SSL → Force HTTPS
- Test your site on multiple devices/browsers
- Clear cache if using any caching plugins
